Participant pathway
5 steps · 22 minutes
Read Romans 8:14–17 and Ephesians 2:8–10. Describe the relationship with God portrayed in each passage. Choose one phrase that expresses a biblical foundation you can prayerfully affirm, such as belonging to God through Christ or being formed for good work.
Read Galatians 5:22–23 and select two qualities you want to embody faithfully. Recall one actual occasion when you practiced a related quality. Keep present evidence and a growth aspiration visible as distinct parts of the reflection.
Identify one setting where your actions help others: family, work, church, study, or community. Describe the action concretely. Optional previously recorded words may contribute a theme when you have weighed them prayerfully; record who said them and retain their original qualifications.
Write five to seven short phrases across belonging, character, and service. Beside each, name its support: a passage, a documented experience, a growth intention, or a previously weighed word. Choose language that is meaningful, modest, and readily understandable.
Read the phrases aloud privately or to a consenting partner. Select three that fit the present season and circle one that needs more discernment. Choose a small action through which one selected phrase can be expressed during the coming week.
Fictional practice example
A new participant begins with belonging to God through Christ, then identifies patience as a growth intention and hospitality as a quality expressed through welcoming newcomers. She creates three phrases: rooted in grace, growing in patience, and making room for others. Each phrase has its own stated foundation and a concrete expression.
Pause and reflect
Which phrase expresses a shared biblical truth about life in Christ?
Which phrase describes demonstrated character, and which expresses an intention for growth?
What action would give one phrase a faithful expression this week?
Produce five to seven supported identity phrases, select three for continued reflection, and name one practical expression.
