Receive

A personal invitation.

Explore becoming who god says i am and create my seven day identity practice plan. Prepare a quiet place and a Bible or the linked passages. Choose private reflection, a consenting partner, or a group.

Prayerful impressions can be weighed through Scripture, trusted counsel, and the fruit of your response. You choose your language and your next step.

How your words are preserved

Your working notes stay in this open page until you choose to prepare and save a dated account entry. Review the account storage permission and optional facilitator sharing at the end. Earlier saved entries remain available in My practice.

Use roles or initials for other people and include only details you have permission to record. Read the Privacy Policy.

Live It Out · after the workshop

Seven days of gentle practice.

Return at your own pace and save another dated entry when you review your experience.

Day 1Begin

Receive: read your chosen passage and name the truth you are practicing.

Day 2Continue

Notice: identify the ordinary moment that invites your chosen action.

Day 3Continue

Practice: carry out the action and record one concrete observation.

Day 4Continue

Adjust: simplify the practice to fit your present capacity.

Day 5Continue

Connect: seek voluntary feedback from someone affected by your action.

Day 6Continue

Rest: consider how rest and gratitude support continued faithfulness.

Day 7Review

Review: describe what you learned, revise the practice, and choose what to carry forward.

Your dated learning record

Preserve what you practiced.

Save a reflection after each session. Earlier entries remain available as your practice develops.

Open the guided presentation

Help participants scale an ambitious goal into a small repeatable action. Ask them to describe behavior they can choose and an observation they can record. Explain that the plan can adapt when responsibilities or capacity change. The seven day review is participant initiated.

0–3 minutes · Receive

Say: Welcome. Today we will explore becoming who god says i am through Scripture, prayer, and your own reflection. Your takeaway is my seven day identity practice plan. You may participate silently, in writing, or with a consenting partner.

Invite one hope for the session. Explain voluntary participation, respectful confidentiality, and participant controlled saving. Allocate one minute to orientation, one to the hope, and one to quiet preparation.

3–8 minutes · Discover

Read the linked passages in their surrounding context. Ephesians connects grace with good works. James invites an active response to the word. Galatians describes the fruit of the Spirit within life shaped by the Spirit.

Invite: Choose one biblical identity truth and one quality you want to practice. Recall a recent ordinary situation where that quality mattered. Describe the action, the people affected, and what you learned.

Allow two minutes to read, two minutes to write, and one minute to identify a central theme. Offer to read aloud when useful.

8–14 minutes · Listen

Say: We will listen and reflect at a gentle pace. Record words, images, questions, or quietness as you experience them.

  1. Where could this truth shape my next ordinary choice?
  2. Which small practice would express love in my current responsibilities?
  3. What time, energy, or support will help me continue?
  4. What would thoughtful progress look like after seven days?

Allow about one minute per question, then two minutes to review and record. Keep sharing optional.

14–20 minutes · Discern

Invite: Separate your identity truth from your chosen practice and the outcome you hope for. Select an action within your responsibility. Consider capacity, consent, rest, and a simple way to observe what happens.

Use four minutes for individual reflection and two for optional questions or trusted partner feedback. Ask which parts are biblical themes, observed experiences, or impressions still being weighed.

20–26 minutes · Compose

Invite: Write a seven day plan with one repeatable action. Choose a daily cue, an achievable duration, support, and a review date. Use the seven prompts below to reflect on the same practice from a different angle each day.

Offer this explicitly illustrative example: Illustrative plan: Grounded in Ephesians 2:10, I will practice patient encouragement by spending five minutes after lunch writing one helpful, specific message to a willing colleague. I will record what I did and how it affected my attention and care, then review my pace after seven days.

Allow four minutes to create and two to read and revise. Help participants express their actual discoveries in their own language.

26–30 minutes · Declare

Invite: Choose the first day and a daily cue that already exists in your routine.

Allow two minutes to choose the action and review date, one to review save and sharing choices, and one for optional closing prayer: Father, thank You for Your love and wisdom. Help us carry what we have learned into faithful, compassionate action. Amen.

Accessibility, participant care, and learning review

Offer spoken, written, and silent participation. Read visual relationships aloud. Permit breaks, additional time, a support person, or a different Scripture passage when helpful. Invite consent before personal sharing. Ask what support is useful when distress arises and follow appropriate local support procedures.

Review whether participants can explain their source, distinguish impressions and interpretation, express their own takeaway, choose a proportionate next step, and understand account saving. Use voluntary feedback to improve future delivery.
