Community outreach and exhibit experiences

Bring discovery into the heart of the community.

Our proposed 2026–2027 outreach experience welcomes individuals, families, and groups into a clear journey: encounter, explore, connect, participate, and contribute.

A booth with a purpose

Build a reusable, modular exhibit around one invitation: Discover what you carry. Explore how it can serve. A clear banner, welcoming host, short hands-on activity, and visible next step connect the display to the Q45 mission. Adapt the footprint to the event and host requirements.

People, families, and groups

Individuals can try a brief original reflection and identify a practical next step. Families can explore conversation cards about the contributions each person brings. Churches, community groups, and businesses can request a workshop brief or explore a service collaboration. Family activities use age appropriate prompts, with caregivers guiding participation.

The physical exhibit kit

Proposed components include a reusable backdrop, retractable banners, coordinated table covering, clearly printed mission and pathway signs, portable display stands, reflection cards, workbooks, a reachable activity surface, seating where appropriate, protected transport cases, and safe cable management. Outdoor use requires suitable anchoring, weather planning, and organizer approval.

A digital experience that supports conversation

Use short captioned original videos, tablet based demonstrations, and a mobile landing page with readable text and clear choices. QR codes link directly to stable organization controlled URLs, with the written URL beside each code. Test the printed code on multiple devices before each event. Keep printed resources and locally stored demonstration media ready for connectivity interruptions.

A short experience people can remember

A host offers a thirty second welcome, a two to five minute original reflection or collaborative activity, and one relevant invitation. Visitors can choose a resource, explore a workshop, request an email response, or simply carry the question home. Activity cards introduce original prompts and respect rights associated with external assessment providers.

Access and welcome built into the plan

Plan clear movement around the exhibit, seated access to activities and displays, readable high contrast signs, captioned media, and an alternative to scanning a code. Coordinate access needs and arrangements with the venue. Hosts explain available participation choices and accommodate different communication preferences.

Follow-up by choice

Use the existing inquiry pathway for an optional request, collecting only information needed to respond. Make the requested resource, group interest, and update preference clear. Contact details and personal reflections remain separate from public display. Give each interested person a useful next step by their selected channel.

Proposed donation supported costs

Prepare an itemized budget for design, printing, booth hardware, display equipment or rental, accessible materials, exhibit fees, appropriate event staffing and training, transport, storage, connectivity, resource delivery, and evaluation. Record quantities, quotations, reusable versus recurring costs, owner, event, and intended purpose. Eligibility follows the approved program, gift terms, recipient policies, and applicable requirements.

Scale through evidence

Begin with one approved event and a reusable core kit. Review visitor engagement, activity completion, optional follow-up requests, workshop participation, feedback, staff capacity, and cost before expanding. Distinguish observations, stated intentions, and verified subsequent participation. The 2027 expansion can adapt the kit for additional communities and partner groups after that review.

Support a defined outreach opportunity

Request a brief for the core exhibit kit, a particular event, accessible learning resources, or a group learning pathway. The brief identifies the receiving organization, charitable purpose, supported budget, readiness, delivery lead, reporting window, and any donor restrictions. Current written instructions govern contribution acceptance.

Planning evidence

This proposed design draws on exhibition engagement research published by IAEE and CEIR and public event accessibility guidance from the City of Los Angeles Department on Disability. Those sources inform the plan; Q45 results will be measured through actual delivery.
