Community service in Ruskin

RUSKIN, Florida — Convergence Q45 will take part in the upcoming Ruskin Seafood Festival through the volunteer service of Carmalita, bringing its commitment to community into a shared SouthShore gathering.

The festival will be held Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15, 2026, at E.G. Simmons Park, 2401 19th Avenue NW, Ruskin. The Greater SouthShore Chamber of Commerce lists Saturday hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free admission.

Carmalita will volunteer on behalf of Convergence Q45 during the festival weekend. Her specific service day, hours and assignment will be shared once confirmed. She is also scheduled to attend the November 4 volunteer preparation gathering ahead of the event.

Community service grows through people who offer their time, prepare thoughtfully and show up for their neighbors. Convergence Q45 welcomes this opportunity to put that spirit into practice in Ruskin.
