Attend to the Holy Spirit.
Ask the Holy Spirit to gather the dream without flattening its tension or forcing closure.
Whole-dream test
Keep every insight accountable.
- Whole-dream coherence: Does the reading account for the complete sequence, atmosphere, turning point, and ending?
- Scripture in context: Does Scripture support the theme within its faithful literary and historical context?
- Character of Christ: Does the reading cohere with holiness, love, truth, mercy, justice, wisdom, and redemptive purpose?
- Inner witness and peace: What remains settled over time when urgency, fear, preference, and pressure subside?
- Wise counsel: What does mature, relevant, independent, and appropriately confidential counsel contribute?
- Providential context: What confirmed circumstances, responsibilities, timing, and openings support or challenge the reading?
- Fruit over time: What character, conduct, relationship, and observable outcome develop across time?
- Separate integrity checks: Verified facts; Material counterevidence; Confidence calibrated separately for theme, timing, identity, and application.
- What response is proportionate, reversible, consent-aware, and reviewable?
